[j-say list] not very impressed with corrections and another problem

Hi all,
I've just been working with chapter 2 in the manual, and I have to say I'm not
very impressed with the correction process.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I tried to move word by word in a sentence, by saying speak next word,
sometimes it did, sometimes it did not.
Is anybody else having this problem?
