This might have something to do with your dictation style. When you say,
"the cat is on the matt," is there any hesitation at all in your speaking of
the phrase? If so, the speaking of the second part of the phrase will
interupt JAWS echo back of the first part of the phrase.

Try to have your entire phrase in your mind before you begin to speak.

Subject: [j-say list] incomplete dictation echo

Hi,
when dictating in Microsoft Word 2003 with the J-say Echo setting switched
on jaws often only echoes back part of the last chunk of dictation. For
example if I dictated:

the cat sat on the mat,

Jaws might only echo back:

 on the mat,

This often happens when a chunk of text that I've just dictated is spread
across two lines.

I have all the updated versions of Jaws 7.1 Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.0 and
J-say pro-.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and did you find an easy fix?

Thanks for any help or pointers.

Cheers
Will
