[iyonix-support] Monitor blanking/screen saving doesn't work

I've got a problem with a Xerox XM3-22wB flatscreen monitor (purchased
including MDF from Castle): regardless of the settings I insert in
'Configuration->Screen', it stubbornly refuses to blank or
screen-save, continuing to display as long as the computer is on. At
present I've set up DPMS level 3 and 'unblank on screen writes', with
a blank delay of 30 sec., since when the monitor has continued to
display for over 20 minutes!
Any suggestions? It's a nice monitor and I don't want to wear it out.
PS: it blanks ok when connected via KVM to my XP laptop.
