Hi Jim,

If you've applied the latest security updates, you can't use the old
method of changing the TSWeb RDP port number. UNLESS you know the secret
:-)

        Hi Steve
I tried changing the port on which tsweb connects and I was not
successful. I get an error message. I have the company website published
on port 80 and like I stated yesterday ts web was published on 3389 and
all work well. When I change the port in the registry and change the
publishing rule for the new port config tsweb won't connect and
suggestions.

                I would seriously consider either,

                1. changing the port TS listens on, as per the article
on isaserver.org, or

                2. Only allowing access via a VPN.

I have terminal server on small business server for
remote administration. I have a packet filter open to port 3389 and I
also used protocol rule and published port 3389. not sure if I need both
the packet filter and the publishing but is works internal and
externally as well. I may used the packet filter for testing purposes on
the isa server itself.

                        Hi Tom,

In order to let internal users to access outside
terminal server, I opened the port 3389, but users have still problem to
access terminal server, the terminal server is working properly, do I
need to do other configuration in ISA?

                        thanks
                        Jeffrey
