Hi Jim, If you've applied the latest security updates, you can't use the old method of changing the TSWeb RDP port number. UNLESS you know the secret :-) Tom Thomas W Shinder www.isaserver.org/shinder ISA Server and Beyond: http://tinyurl.com/1jq1 Configuring ISA Server: http://tinyurl.com/1llp -----Original Message----- From: James May [mailto:Jmay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 10:41 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: terminal service http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Steve I tried changing the port on which tsweb connects and I was not successful. I get an error message. I have the company website published on port 80 and like I stated yesterday ts web was published on 3389 and all work well. When I change the port in the registry and change the publishing rule for the new port config tsweb won't connect and suggestions. Jim May Defense Group Inc. Only allowing access via a VPN. I have a packet filter open to port 3389 and I also used protocol rule and published port 3389. not sure if I need both the packet filter and the publishing but is works internal and externally as well. I may used the packet filter for testing purposes on the isa server itself. Jim May Defense Group Inc.
