I agree with Tom to use a host based solution, but the last view days I have
create a destination Set with "all" spyware sides on the ISA server

After that I create a Site and Content Rule that redirect to an internal web
page when a client accesses a Spyware site.

You see than parts of the internal page in your IE when you browse to a
Internet side.

Only problem is that you must be careful witch side you block (example
Google Toolbar, support sides etc )

Hi Jason,

I always use a host based solution. The if you try to do it at the firewall,
the "law of unintended effects" becomes the operating principle and bedlam
could be a significant problem ;-)

Just out of interest, what is the general consensus when it comes to
preventing spyware on user computers? Personally, I've configured our domain
so that none of our users are local admins, this way spyware is never able
to get a foothold on their dektops. This has been very effective so far, the
only occaissional outbreaks we get are from management who insist on being
local admins.

Cheers,

Jason

I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times, feel free to heckle, but
please answer. Does anyone make a spyware blocker that can sit on my ISA
server? Please? I asked nicely.
