I did make the registry change. And I am still getting all the dialog boxes as before. Is there any way of testing that the kotfix has installed ok? I am thinking that maybe the hotfix has not installed successfully. What steps did you take when installing and setting up isa? That's critical to the behavior change. Just as you did, I told the outgoing web listener to "ask unauthenticated users" and created user-based rules. I have checked the "ask unauthenticated users for identification" and keep getting multiple authentication dialogs on the client. Can someone please clarify what stps have to be taken to set up authenticated access for ISA Server. regards, Bill. -- +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Bill Parnell BSc (HONS) | Senior Information Specialist | |------------------------------------------------------------------| | Information Services ICQ: 51598041 | | Network & Communications Team Phone: +44 (1382) 308846 | | Room 3505.6 (Computer Centre) Fax: +44 (1382) 308808 | | The University of Abertay Dundee, Pager: +44 (7659) 511631 | | 40 Bell Street, Dundee.
