Tom, I just tested my router..i removed NAT and DHCP from router and used the public ip given as its internal interface. Worked. So now I just have to add DHCP on ISA ( as I don't have it on internal network) and configure ISA with NAT . Looks good to me now... a little relieved. I hope I am going in the right direction. Like I said on the Web site, DO NOT put the internal and external interfaces on the same network segments. Using NAT on DSL router so if i add ISA in between, either i have to change the internal interface of router to some other network or have to change my internal network's IP ? (as ISA cant have both interfaces on same network) so how to go about this? is there any tutorial or article which describes how to do this, to Use ISA as routed and not as NAT server.. what i mean is a network like this current : Internet---(69.20.--.-- )--->Router --(192.168.1.0)--> Network What i want : Internet--(69.20.-.-)--> Router--(192.168.20.0)-->ISA-(192.168.1.0)->network where the NAT mappings of 69.20.--.-- to 192.168.1.0 remain on router Thanks ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: gurkirpal.bedi@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
