inbound VPN cannot access Exchange, times out when attempting to connect

Hello everyone...
I've got ISA going pretty good, except for one thing...
Here's my scenario:
Inbound VPN connections authenticate and can access the network as needed.
When setup Outlook on the client PC, and it will see the server, and fill
in the name when you hit the "check name" button.
However...When opening outlook, it cannot find the Exchange server to
retrieve contents of the mailbox.
I'm at a total loss on this one!
