If you want to disable per IP address, there is a bit of admin overhead to prepare this environment so that you have a known ip environment. I am guessing that your 158 users are DHCP clients? If so, you need to start at the DHCP server and start creating 158 reserved dhcp ip clients. This will help keep your ip addresses assigned the appropriate pc and not just randomly assign your pcs ip during a renew request. If you don't know how to configure your DHCP to reserve ip address then that is out of the scope of this newsgroup, just send my your request direct and I can help you out. After you environment has been sucessfully reserved, you should be able to now create a rule to disable per ip addresses. -----Original Message----- From: saqib ullah [mailto:bugsdebugger@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, May 13, 2003 3:29 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] how to authenticate clients throgh ip in ISA http://www.ISAserver.org Hi All. please help me this is my saecond mail for that topic.we are running internet cable we have at least 158 users now please tell me how can i restrict my users throgh ip address.means that if i gave one ip to one user and if they tell me just cut off my line so i a just disable his ip from my server please help i ma very thankful to you becuase there is so much difficult to cut off the lines from the switches. thanx as advance.
