Yeah, I just have critical updates and patches set for download now..and I went through the list and narrowed it down to just products I have. This is my screen for the sync.: Synchronization Status Last synchronization: 9/2/2005 10:34 AM Last synchronization result: Success Next synchronization: 9/2/2005 6:19 PM Current status: Idle Status of Downloads Updates needing files: 389 Downloading 0.00 MB of 4,050.52 MB I synced and watched the log in ISA and it connects...still weird it won't download. I'll check out the newsgroup for Update services. Thanks for the insights. Check your settings in WSUS and make sure you choose the right product categories and such. -----Original Message----- From: Dan Crain [mailto:DanC@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 9:46 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: WSUS and ISA http://www.ISAserver.org It does go out and check for updates and says it's a success...it just doesn't download any files. You may need to allow anonymous access for the WSUS server if all other rules are authenticated. -----Original Message----- From: Dan Crain [mailto:DanC@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 6:15 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] WSUS and ISA http://www.ISAserver.org Is anyone using the Microsoft WSUS? Are there any specific ports that need to be open so that WSUS will download it's files? Let me know, Thanks. Dan Daniel A. Crain Systems Administrator Dean, Ringers, Morgan and Lawton, P.A. 201 E.
