http://www.ISAserver.org ------------------------------------------------------- I use VPN to establish the connection to the ISA server, then use RDP to work from there. The two go hand-in-hand pretty good. The kicker in your situation is going to be the IM portion. You can use the built-in chat function in Windows to do LAN (or via VPN) chat (IM), but you don't get video. If you use one of the more popular IM programs, they all require you to contact a central Internet server to coordinate the connections and then you open a much larger can of worms. -----Original Message----- From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Thomas W Shinder Sent: Thursday, August 17, 2006 12:04 PM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] Re: Video to and from a roaming client http://www.ISAserver.org ------------------------------------------------------- Hi Steve, Why not use VPN? You know that the ISA firewall allows you to lock down VPN users in the same way as any other type of user.
