I thought that might be the best solution, but looking at the hardware
requirements for lcs im a little reluctant to stick it on the sbs box,
and all my member servers are busy doing other duties, seems a bit
overkill to setup as new server for communication to 1 user.

Thanks for the help though, ill ask if anyones running this is the sbs
list.

I think Live Communications Server is what you're looking for.

Subject: [isalist] Video to and from a roaming client

I have a request to allow 1 user (who lives 250 miles away from the main
office) to be able to communicate using some form of (instant messenger)
client that supports video and audio, with everyone at the main office.

This user will need to be able to talk to all users in the head office,
but I don't want anyone in head office to be able to talk to anyone
other than this user.

The user is currently using RWW to do his office work.

The DC is SBS2k3 with ISA (sorry Tom), and all users are XP pro sp2,
everything is patched. I've read Toms book p588+ on allowing outbound
access to msn via the web proxy, but can I lock this down to a single
external IP (his IP is static). I've googled for other solutions to the
problem but not come across anything that looks like it solves the
problem.

Does anyone have any pointers on where I should be looking.
