Hello, To begin with RRAS clients VPN or otherwise do not receive their addresses directly from the DHCP server even if you have configured RRAS to use DHCP. The RRAS server allocates addresses in blocks from the DHCP server (usually in blocks of 10). Once it has done so the DHCP server is out of the picture until the RRAS sever has to renew the block. The VPN clients never talk to the DHCP server when obtaining their addresses. If you have the DHCP relay agent configured on your RRAS server to provide other DHCP options to your VPN clients then those requests will be sent to you DHCP server but the load would be slight.
