For the benefit of everyone, I have posted awhile back that I am in the
process of a project to configure and document how to set up a VPN
between a SonicWall and ISA server.

That project has now been given a lower priority, and will not be
completed for a few months.

It is a little complex because of the way SonicWall does the Keys and
such, and why it is taking some time.

When I have completed the project, I will post the results as well as
submit the documentation for publishing on isaserver.org.

On the list would be nice too! :-)

Our situation is that the remote site already has a T-1 connection via
the office complex (we rent a suite) and I would like to be able to have
the hub / switch provide the means to connect directly to our ISA via
RAS.

Thanks.

John,

If you have time could you email me off list? Curious on what you have
done so far on the Sonicwall/ISA scenario. I am in the same boat.

Steve

If you look through isaserver.org and MS ISA server pages, you will find
somewhere other firewalls that are known to work with ISA on VPN.
Hopefully, in a few months, I will publish a How-to on setting up a VPN
between a SonicWall and ISA.
