You said that the ISA box is working for everything BUT RDP and ping?

 

If that's the case, that's extremely strange.

 

But... I thought I saw someplace that you could open up the Computer
Management MMC on a different system and then point it to the ISA box
and read the Event Logs and whatnot.  If that's the case then from the
same box try telnetting to port 3389 on the ISA box. If that doesn't
work, run the following command from a command prompt on the ISA server:

 

netstat -an | find /i ":3389"

 

If the ISA box is listening for RDP traffic, the above command should
spit out an address (furthest left in the output) that looks something
like the following:

 

x.x.x.x:3389

moved the cables to new ports.

deleted and recreated the NIC Team..

made it DHCP, then back to the static IP right away

rebooted many times

ipconfig /flushdns and /registerdns

 

 

im about out of my quick bag o tricks..

 

im thinking there's a network issue.. maybe.

From the server console, I can ping anything.
The windows 2003 firewall service is NOT running on the box.

Wow..
I was RPD'd into my ISA server runing perfmon locally.. The box kicked
me out of my RDP, and even after a reboot I cant ping it or RDP back
into it..
