Thanks, Jim. My question was about ISA2004 and not SBS. Yes, I support both. Yep I'm aware of the SBS and ISA2000 don'ts. But apparently not everyone reads the contents of the shortcut that the SP1 puts right there on your desktop! I corrected a guy on the yahoo list this morning and then decided that it was worth a blog entry as a heads up to those that can't be bothered to read help or readme files. The news should start filtering around the SBS groups soon. Do Not use it on an ISA 2000 or an SBS machine. We're trying to get the ISA 2000 version out ASAP. -----Original Message----- From: Thomas W Shinder [mailto:tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, May 13, 2005 6:15 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: SP1 Security Wizard http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Amy, I haven't run it in its final version, but in the beta versions I tested, it didn't see too heinous and the ISA profiles didn't break anything that shouldn't be broken :) I wouldn't run the ISA profiles on an SBS box, but they probably have there on ISA as host-based firewall policies (just a guess, I don't know). It seems it would be redundant to me and could cause an IT admin to have nightmare's if she forgets that the reason an app can't do it's thing is because of the SCW and not an ISA configuration.
