You still don't need that.
The Streaming Media application filter handles all the secondary connections
you created by hand.

Hi Jim,

I know there is already one.
Only the application (server) i use is using RTSP protocol (TCP 554) and
extra a bunch if dynamic ports (44951-65532)
That is the reason why i created a new Protocol definition..

with regards,
Ruben

You did it wrong.
You don't have to create a custom protocol for RTSP Server; one already
exists in ISA.

Where are you testing from; inside or outside ISA?
Testing from inside is non-functional.

Hi List,

What I want is to publish a Real Server (RTSP) behind my ISA Server.
I created a protocol definition: RTSP Server NEW, TCP inbound 554, secundary
port 44951-65532 TCP inbound/outbound
A server publishing rule is created and i used the just made protocol
definition.
I restarted the Firewall Services and waited 5 minutes.

>From a client it isn't possible to stream data, with TCPview from
sysinternals.com i don't see connections to destination port starting with
44951

Anyone running Real Server (RTSP) behind ISA Server, any ideas ??

with regards,
Ruben Spruijt
