They are gonna come in on port 80, so you want ISA to recieve those requests. Your on the right track changing the port IIS listens though. the idea is that ISA will recieve the HTTP request on 80 and hand it to IIS on the internal interfaces alternate port.. I have found netstat to be an invaluable tool to see what ports are listening on what interface.. "netstat -na" to be exact. hope that helps a little -Jay -----Original Message----- From: Beverly Kovack [mailto:bkovack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 8:17 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Problems with web publishing http://www.ISAserver.org I am new to this so please bare with me. I am running small business server with ISA 2000 and IIS 5.0 on the same system. I have successfully published an ftp site but I am having a problems with publishing a web site. I have followed the tutorials for web publishing that are posted on isaserver.org site and I still cannot access the site. I get a page that says the page cannot be displayed. I have changed the incoming listener in ISA from port 80 to port 12345 and then I have changed the port in IIS to 12345 for the default website. I then disabled socket pooling so that the IIS service would not bind to port 80. What am I doing wrong? I would appreciate any help I can get.
