Problems with Internet Blocking

I have succeeded in getting internet blocking working as far as allowing
access to specific websites for specific users. However, when this is
enabled, suddenly, my website no longer holds session variables. So, when
enabled, a customer logs in to the web site and tries to set up an order
only to be thrown back to the login screen. Has anyone else had this problem
or possibly know how to resolve it?
