Have you tried to implement your VPN connections to first connect to the PIX with Cisco VPN Client and then to make a second VPN connection to the ISA server? That way you suppose to have your VPN connection more secure. I've read this implementation on one of Thomas articles but never tried it. Did you? As for allowing a VPN connection through to the ISA Firewall, I have the following rules in my access-list: access-list acl_outside permit tcp any host <ISA's external IP> eq 1723 access-list acl_outside permit udp any host <ISA's external IP> eq 1723 access-list acl_outside permit gre any host <ISA's external IP> This should allow all VPN connections to reach your ISA Server and then be validated by RRAS and then everything should be just fine!!!
