I see the horizontal scroll bar only when it's needed... Whether or not I'm at the bottom of the page. I see the problem's been reported before... I just can't replicate it here.... Sorry. I was on this page: http://gem.compaq.com/gemstore/MatrixDisplay.asp?ProductLineId=5&FamilyI d=1201&oi=E9CED If needed, at what point do you see the horizontal scroll bar? I only see it when I reach the bottom of the page. It looks like the problem was out there before. Found the following on http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/ie7_beta3.asp. Microsoft has also improved the new zoom functionality to include a horizontal scroll bar. In the original implementation of this feature, only a vertical scroll bar would appear, stranding some users on pages with wide left-to-right content. Now, it's possible to see the entire page while zooming, even on massively horizontal Web sites. ________________________________ From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joe Pochedley Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 2:46 PM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] Re: OT: IE 7 and horizontal scroll bar What page are you seeing this behavior on? I'm running IE7 and have scrolled to the bottom of a number of pages. I don't see any scroll bars when I don't expect them..... I just tried playing with the zoom... Again, no extra scroll bars that I wouldn't expect...... Joe Pochedley Software suppliers are trying to make their software packages more user-friendly... With zoom set at 100% the bar appears after I scroll to the bottom of the page. Anything over 100% is yields two scroll bars.
