Hi Justin, Outbound access control can be a weighty subject. The Help File covers these topics, but is somewhat difficult to digest. Check the articles in the Learning Zone, however, many of these are on advanced topics, but you might find something helpful. Essentially, you need to configure protocol rules based on protocol definitions and allow access to those protocols only. Of course, if you do this for the protocols that you mentioned, there will be no HTTP access! Check out our book if you get a chance, I talk about outbound access control ad nauseam there. I appear to be able to get the network secure in regard to external access, but in doing so, I am blocking any outgoing requests. If someone has a tutorial or can offer some advice I would be appreciative. I am only wanting to allow MSN Messenger, mIRC, ICQ, and Real Player. All other internet access needs to be restricted. Thanks in advance.
