Hi Jim, I suspected that was the case... I have another question for you - in this case can I just add another NIC to the ISA Server and have both connected to the same router? Would there be any conflicts? Will I then be able to get the firewall to work or will I now have the same problem times 2? Meaning that both NICs are connected to same router having 2 individual IP addresses but the same subnet. Thanks for any help you can provide... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Harrison" <jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2001 4:45 PM Subject: [isalist] Re: ISA Server using 1 NIC and a router > http://www.ISAserver.org > > > Single NIC = no firewall functionality > No firewall functionality = no server publishing > > Jim Harrison > MCP(NT4, 2K), A+, Network+, PCG > http://isaserver.org/authors/harrison/ > Read the book! > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <smcleod@xxxxxxxxxx> > To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2001 08:04 > Subject: [isalist] ISA Server using 1 NIC and a router > > > http://www.ISAserver.org > > > Hello All, > > I have an ISA Server that only has 1 NIC and connected to a router.
