Hi, I got connection by adding a new URL set under the Firewall Policy Toolbox. I included *.symantec.com as URLs included in this set. Next I started Edit System Policy, and in the dialog I added my new URL set under various and Allowed Sites. It seems reasonable and prudent to prevent random sites from being accessed from the ISA server, so I will try it this way for a while. If I configure the rule you suggested won't that allow full web access? It seems that by default Microsoft only allows access to their own sites. After applying I could access the Symantec websites from the ISA server. I was also able to perform a live update to the local client but I get an error when I try the same with the Antivirus Server itself. I may have a configuration issue with SAV that I have to track down. Also, you should configure the local host network to use the Web proxy. The most fun way to do this is to create a Content Download Job. Everything went fine and I have access from any of my client computers. However I was using my ISA server as my Symantec Antivirus Server, and out of the box I am unable to do any live updates. In addition I cannot access the web from the ISA server using internet explorer. I have configured IE to use a proxy server and pointed it to the internal interface of my 2004 server. I also have configured Symantec Antivirus to use a proxy and I pointed it to the internal interface on the ISA 2k4 server. I also attempted to use the information at http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Allowing_Norton_AntiVirus_software_Li veUpdate_through_ISA_Server.html <http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Allowing_Norton_AntiVirus_software_L iveUpdate_through_ISA_Server.html> to no avail. Is there something obvious I am doing wrong?
