Actually, this can be done (John - advising a sonicwall in the
ISAlist?!?).
The key points are to make sure you disable socket pooling in IIS and
avoid binding ISA web listeners to the same IP/ports as the IIS web
listeners.

You might be better off then removing ISA (shock) and getting a
Sonicwall.

Otherwise, please explain what else you might be doing on this box.

FYI, like Elmer Fudd says, ThThThThat's all folks. (For the night that
is.)

Hi John

Thanks for quick response. I know that but I can't collocate two servers
and have to end up working with only one collocated server.

Regards,

John

Best advise is to separate the functions. Let the firewall be a firewall

Subject: [isalist] Hosting multiple sites on windows server 2003 running
ISA 2004 as well

Hi All

I am running ISA 2004 , IIS 6.0 and FTP on the same collocated windows
server 2003. I ran into big problem because of conflict of ports between
ISA and IIS. Thanks to Thomas W Shinder, Using the help given in
http://www.isaserver.org/articles/2004ispcolo.html
<http://www.isaserver.org/articles/2004ispcolo.html> I could fix that
but because Loopback adaptor has only one IP and I have many sites, all
with their own public IP, how can I publish all my sites accessible by
their own public IPs. One loopback adaptor's IP I have used in
publishing default site defined in IIS. Can I re-run to make many IPs
available to be mapped to public IPs what I did with one IP?

Please help.

Regards,

John
