Do you have Port 500 opened on the firewall?

Hi

I am trying to get a Cisco IPSec VPN client to work through ISA server 2000.

I have followed MS article 812076 and also read the ISAserver.org article by
Stefaan.
I keep getting a 412 client error.

The VPN documentation also mentions...
"If you use a firewall on your machine or access the Internet using a
firewall please ensure that the firewall software is configured for access.
The Encryption system is called IPSEC which uses a sub-protocol called ESP
(protocol 50). This IPSEC software will work with Network address
translation only if you use TCP NAT (default) or UDP NAT options."

Anybody has experience of setting one of these clients up and any help
please.

Thanks

RajiA
