More likely, the problem is:
1. the DHCP packet filter is not enabled
2. you need to stop the ISA services, renew the lease and restart the ISA
services

This is a known issue with DHCP on some ISPs.
Use the script at www.jalojash.org/isascripts/isa_ip_renew.vbs

Subject: [isalist] DHCP / BOOTP problems when geting IP from ISP (Telia)

http://www.ISAserver.org

Problem is as follows:

When the Isa service is started it runs as it should, but when W2K is
trying to get a new leas from the ISP (Telia) it reject it and W2K is then
using the old MS ip's (169....)

I think the problem might be that the ISP is not using DHCP but BOOTP
instead. Any known workarounds ?

Cheers David
