Sorry to be thick, but could you just run through the steps that I should do on the Exchange Server to make sure that it is configured correctly with regards to the Virtual SMTP Server... We are getting mail received on the Exchange Server from the ISP but it isn't being delivered to the users account on the server. If you have it configured properly with a default SMTP Virtual site under protocols, with ETRN for the hourly check, and the mail is successfully being accepted by the Exchange server, then it is already going to mailboxes. Otherwise the inbound mail fails when it can not find a mailbox to route the inbound to. I have a SBS Server (2000) running ISA Server and Exchange. We have a dial up ISDN connection and mail retrieval is set to every hour. How do I get Exchange to route the e-mail to the correct user once it is sitting on the Exchange Server. All the clients login to the Server and use Outlook 98 or 2000. Any hints or pointers very greatfully received.
