Thanks. Actually, I created a new routing rule under networking. That
appears to have resolved the problem, at least for the moment. But I
will check the article your referenced.

Thanks again!

1.) Are you able to resovle the website by a FQDN, internally
(for users with private ip will the website resolve with an internal ip)
and externally (for internet users will the website resolve with an
external ip)?

2.) Does the Website have the a host header with the same FQDN?

Thanks for the reply. It isn't an IE problem. It happens
from where ever you try it. I am at my office and it does it. His
programmer experiences the same thing from his office. I terminal
serviced into the site and it does it from the server itself. In the
past, rebooting the server corrected the problem. However, this morning
the reboot did not resolve the problem.

The Event Log shows error 14141 but nothing in that
applies.

Hi Larry, have you configured IE properties to
bypass the proxy server, and under the Advanced... button, under
Exceptions entered the FQDN (example: *.companyweb.com)?

I have a client with SBS 2000 with ISA.
They run their web site on it. We have started getting the occassional
problem that the web site becomes inaccessible. When viewed from IE, the
error is:

The server has detected a proxy chain
loop. This condition might indicate a configuration problem in a proxy
server.
This would indicate that there is a
problem with the configuration between multiple ISA servers. However,
this is the only one. Anyone have any ideas of how to resolve this?

                                Thanks.
