You said you set up the workstations to use ISA as the proxy, I take it this
means they are not setup as Secure NAT clients?

You do not have the firewall client installed on the ISA server, do you?

Yes, by the following means:

1. localhost : 8080
2. 127.0.0.1: 8080
3. Internal IP: 8080
4. External IP: 8080
5. NetBios Name (I used the actual NetBios name, not "NetBios Name"):
8080
6. Settings blank - nothing specified

I get the same error for all of the above methods, which is:

"The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings."

Did you set up in Internet Explorer on ISA to use itself as the proxy?

Without going into the lengthy details, we use ISA as our email screener. I
am trying to enable GFI MailSecurity to allow for FTP updates from the ISA
server which GFI is installed on.

I have general protocol rules setup to allow for access to FTP and HTTP,
with no restrictions for client address sets (yet).

If I configure my workstation to use the ISA server as a proxy, I can get
out via http and ftp just fine. If I try to access http or ftp sites
directly from the ISA server, I get timeouts and cannot connect.

I am logged on as a domain admin on both boxes. Any ideas on why I can't get
out from the ISA server?
