Hi,

Your outgoing mail server should have ISA server IP. Make a server
publishing rule to publish your mail server using ISA. If you right
click the server publishing rules, a "secure mail server" is in the drop
down list. just follow the instructions. This is what I did with my mail
server.

I hope it helps.

Marc

        Hi,

How can I route my outgoing mail traffic thorough SMTP Filter?
Should I keep gateway as my ISA server ip address or outgoing mail
server as ISA server IP?

        George

                        Hi George,

Open the ISA console, then go to
Extensions/Application Filters/SMTP Filter
Open the property page of the SMTP filter and go
to the attachments tab.
There you can block attachments by name,
extension, or size.
Don't forget to enable the SMTP filter.

                        I hope it helps.
