Tom, i didn't turn autodiscovery on from isa server, how is it done please?  I tried creating a WPAD record on our dns, but still the firewall client is not able to discover the isa server machine automatically :(

Hi Nick,

Have you enabled autodiscovery publishing on the ISA firewall?

Thanks!
Tom

Subject: [isalist] Browser Too Slow - only first browse page

 Hi guys,

I got a small strange problem I've never heard of.  Since I installed isa 2004, each time I open a web browser, the first page takes ages to load (i.e. explorer is blocked on "detecting proxy settings").  Once this phase is open, then browsing is normal.
The proxy settings are specified in internet explorer and they are not set to automatically detect.

Any idea what this could be?

Regards,
Nick Holmes.
