Block a specific file

I'd like to forbid the execution of '.asf' files from the network. I already
created a content group to audio files and inserted this kind of file inside
and established an access policy to deny access to this file, but still is
possible execute this files clicking in the link from the browser and executing
in windows media player.
How can i block this execution?
