Your posting was the *last* one on the list.
From what you stated, you failed to contact GFI in any manner other than
this list.
If you:
1. Install a product and it horks your system.
2. have a "business stopper" issue as a result
3. use a listserv to deal with the issue (and post without reading, as
the problem was debugged and solved by the time you posted with your
four angry faces)
4. call a 3rd party for support.

..you deserve to pay the support fee from the third party.

The fact is, if you had contacted GFI with a "server down" issue instead
of posting to a list, you'd likely have seen *much* faster service.

FWIW, Chuck Heavener received a solution in less than 24 hours via the
list.

IOW, if you communicate according to priority, you'll likely see
appropriate results. If communicate "conveniently", you get what you
ask for.

So... perhaps your brain wasn't being fully utilized (or was it)...?

If you install a product and it f* your system and even removing it
won't take it back to original state, what would you?
1) Use trouble shooter and post to GFI or send an email hoping to get a
reply back in 24 hours while email server is not working?
2) Immediately call Microsoft and pay the support fee to get it fixed
sooner since the cost loosing business email will be much more than $245

Read twice and use your brain before judging...

Yeah I didn't read that...I always love it when clients ask me about
their point of sale or accounting package they buy.
1. I don't care
2. Its not my product/job
3. I REALLY don't care

Of course I don't say that to them... mostly

I like Ara Avvali's posting.
If you install one product and call someone else for support, you
deserve to pay the support fee.
