That is a possibility, I'll have to create a rule like that and see what
happens. I'm not really sure why they need it, but they insist it would
be a great benefit to the students or something like that...

I ran into a similar problem some months back. The iTunes software can't
get through to the iTunes Music Store from behind ISA 2004. If you look
in the logs it tells you something or another about considering the
traffic encrypted, can't look at it, so won't let it through. It was the
HTTP filter doing it. Disabling the HTTP filter was an alternative I
wouldn't contemplate. The suggestion was made on this list to, as I
recall, divert the traffic to the Music Store so it didn't use the
regular HTTP filter, and then set up and modify a new HTTP filter for
Music Store traffic only, which would allow it. I must say, though, that
I never set it up. I had one user complaining and we agreed he could do
the Music Store thang from home.

I've been trying to figure out why Apple iTunes software (WinXP version)
does not work behind ISA2004. It apparently does most of the functions
okay, but when it tries to do a catalog lookup to automatically detect
song information it fails.

Anyone else run into something like this? I've searched as much as I
could and find a lot of complaints that it doesn't work being
"corporate" firewalls, but have yet to find anyone who had a solution.
