Another external line for backup

Hi all!
we have an isa with external card connect to the internet and the isa is
installed as a cache and firewall
i want to add another card and connect it to an adsl modem and enable it
if the external line is going down...
do u think its okay???
what will happend to the rules??
can i do it???
do i need to reinstall the server with 2 externals???
