No; you don't.

You may have to close/reopen the MMC, but a server restart is not required
for IP management.

I'd love to have the SR so I can bitch-slap the support engineer that told
you this.

Officially you have to reboot after adding an additional IP address. But
I've done it plenty of times without rebooting. You do have to close and
re-open the ISA console. But otherwise no probs. I've had upwards of ten IP
addresses assigned to the external interface.

Once on the phone with PSS I did it without rebooting. They were aghast and
said it wouldn't work. But it did. It always has for me.

Are there any caveats of which I should be aware before adding additional IP
address(es) to the external interface on ISA Server 2006 (running on Windows
Server 2003)? The purpose is to bind an additional listener on the IP
address (because it needs a different certificate). I have done some
research and it seems straightforward, but I am a little uncertain about it.
Our setup is pretty straightforward, just the 2 interfaces on the server.
