Hi Gang,
If anyone is looking for an affordable MP3 player, check out the ZMate by Dane
Electronics. You can get specs at Amazon.com. it sells for about $19.00.

This little player uses an SD (Secure Digital) card and resembles a box of
TicTacs. On the front of the player you have your basic cell phone
configuration
with up, down, left and right arrows with a button in the middle for power,
play and pause. the up and down arrows are for volume and the left and right
are for tracks. On the bottom right of the player you have a tiny hold switch
and on the top right you have an A B button, which allows you to repeat
a certain section of any audio.

The player comes with a USB cable and (in our opinion) inferior earbuds. The
SD card and battery are not included. What a horror. three women went flying
around trying to find those valuable items. the highest capacity card that can
be used is 2 gig.

you can use a card reader to copy and paste music on to the player or you can
attached the USB cable to your computer and copy and paste songs that way.
Ah...you'll need a triple A battery. Also, the headphone jack is on the top
left of the player near the SD card slot.Be careful when inserting the
card as mine became stuck and Maria had to pull it out with her teeth. Yikes!
When correctly inserted, it slips in and out with no problem.

to turn the player on, press and hold the play button for a count of about two
seconds. Next, press the play button again to start your first track.

Bad news: It does not keep your place. At least it did not keep mine in my
podcasts. I've decided to use it solely for music.

Okay. Have fun and happy listening if you should decide to purchase the
player. it really has a terrific sound, depending on your headphones or stereo
system.

Hope you found this helpful and feel free to ask any questions.
Your Faithful Leader Lynne
