[Ilugc] trouble

trouble, after i log in and give startx, it goes into the graphical
mode and the blue screen appears, it doesn't proceed after that,
nothing else happens... i was using kde
i do get a menu which gives me the options to kill process, and do
other things... but clicking on the menu items seem to give no
response.well...
You are just being taken to another window manager (fvwm) or something
similar. _Choose_ KDE or Gnome. Run ?dm (kdm, gdm, xdm) and choose from the
menu which the simplest way to choose from one of the window managers
installed.
