This is a great scenario of work group setup.  

Suggest you document your setup (the entire thing i.e. samba, apache, 
eclipse IDE on the desktops) in a wiki/blog so that others can also 
benefit from what you learnt.  You could also contribute it as an 
article to e-zines.
