hi luggies....
i have the following configuration...
AMD ATHALON 64 BIT PROCESSOR
ASUS 8 VMX MOTHER BOARD
160 GB SATA HARDDISK
DVD WRITER
1 GB RAM...
i took up the mandriva 2006 for installing in my system..
but at a point it is asking me to select an IDE..
and in the list there are more than a dozen of options..
and especially 6 to 7 sata options....
can u help me in installing mandriva..
i am also a new commer to LINUX...
suggest me ways to improve my working with linux...
so kindly help and guide me...
