The problem here is I am not able to see /dev/tun0 once I do
#/sbin/modprobe tun /* which is sucessful.. and /sbin/lsmod shows that
tun module is loaded..
What can go wrong?
What packages do "udev" come from ..I don't see such ustil in my
machine..?

that's udev creating the device automatically when you modprobe the interface
and set up a tunnel
dont create a tun0 device yourself
