Yes I tried firestarter too.It works really good. but after I connect eth0
to Router ( Of course I enabled DHCP in router ) and eth1 to LAN switch,This
is not working as a gateway for my LAN.
plese refer my network interfaces.
nano -w /etc/network/interfaces

Please refer my first mail.I think I have to enable LAN routing between two
NIC's (In windows it is called Bridges between NIC's ),then only I will make
them to communicate each other.I failed in this part.
I could not even ping either NIC's after connecting the the two NIC to
router and Switch (Of course I enable ICMP in firewall) from the LAN.
Ofcourse IPCOP geared towards home and SOHO users, It needs whole new
computer for itself. You can't use it for other purpose.I am looking for a
simple firewall to work as a secure gateway for only 15 WIN computers.
Need your advice please......
Thanks,
Sankaranarayanan,s.

Have you looked at Firestarter? It has a gui and is available in gnome.
