I have seen it in mandrake 10.
But the desktop was KDE and the kicker had that option[transparent kicker not
workspace].Configured it through Control center
regarding GNOME i am not sure

what is different is the transparent workspace.
I have not seent his in gnome 2.4
this is certainly not gnome-applets
can someone take a look and identify the package ?
is it exclusive to gnome2.6 ?
