[Ilugc] gmail in Konqueror

Tried accesing my gmail from konqueror in Kunbuntu 6.10
commonly used functionality (like chat) seem to be missing or restricted
citing reason that the browser is in-capable..
has this happened to any one? what are the additional plugins etc., that
i need to install to access gmail comfartably as i do in browsers like
firefox & IE...
Use it as firefox , from tools -> identification .
Asynchronous connections work , as ajax works , with konqueror , but
sometimes there is minor problems with alignment , like your frieds likst
may take extra 10 colums which can be irritating.Its one of the best
browsers otherwise , it has gobe through dramatic changes recently , and
those irritating memory leaks have been fixed.
Still its yet not complete and firefox is a better choice till then .
And I am not sure if its just me or if its a bug , I experience memory
related problems(memory magically hogged even when all tabs are closed
except one) with firefox when i use it for a long time , when i kill all and
start it again , its fine
