[Ilugc] color over ssh

From my debian desktop I ssh over to a remote solaris server. One of
the disappointing things about this setup is I see everything as black
and white. For e.g. a gnu ls --color does not give color but only
various shades of black and white.

Try playing around with the TERM setting. Setting it to TERM=xterm, on
the client before the ssh may help.
You may also need to set the TERM on the Solaris server.
Let me know if it works out for you.

I have installed RH 7.2 in a PIV machine with Intel 845GL original =
mother board. I had problem with VideoCard. After selecting "vesa" =
driver now Xwindows is working. But the soundcard is not detected. It is =
Soundmax Integrated Digial Audio. I tried sndconfig
I got the following message
Intel 8086-24c5 not supported
What are the other options available???
