I have a debian OS (x86) on an IDE-HDD with / partition
mapped on /dev/hda2 and with boot flag set.
Now i am shifting this disk to a new system with better
hardware (memory,core2duo) and BIOS too which has support
for SATA and IDE disks. Right it doesnt have any SATA drive
fixed this disk with debian OS. Now it doesnt recognize the
boot parition on the IDE-HDD i suppose, and is stuck with
error:
"No bootable device, insert boot disk and press any
key"
