Dear friends: I had received the following query from a Chennai company
(email: contact@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) seeking equivalent of Dreamweaver.
One of my colleagues has suggested Quanta which is part of KDE.
I would appreciate if any of you could throw more light. [Of course, I too
would like to know about the equivalent tool and include it in the
"migration" list we are building up.]

this we need text editors, tools for creating tables. On window platform we
are using Macromedia Dreamweaver which creates tables and also edits php
codes and creats database in MySql. For developing softwares in Linux we

We tried NVU, which does not work with PHP but with only HTML. Therefore not
able to write PHP code on NVU and store in MySql.Though NVU has all
the good features of Dreamweaver it has no use for Linux .
Please let us know an appropriate tool which can be used for developing
softwares on Linux.
