Hi,
These are my thoughts. I have heard many people hating
microsoft or bill gates. The real people who needs to be hated
are the share holders and the Board of directors represented by
microsoft. Because it they who vouch the policies of bill gates
and control the direction of the company.
In most cases , the founder would be a share-holder with huge
number of shares. But they seldom hold 50%+ shares. If someone
wants to really make some difference, they should form an
association and buy the shares of microsoft from open-market and
change the board of directors and also CEO. Say if several lakhs
of anti-microsoft people world-wide form an association and with
small contribution from each one, they can buy easily 50%+
shares of microsoft and change the management or the board of
directors and make the company to go in the desired direction.

I got the following link from net.
Thought it would be interesting for many
other software users and developers to read.

I dont know whether the link has already been there in the
list. I searched the site http://www.chennailug.org to check"microsoft",
whether it is already in the list. When I searched for
it(google through ilugc web site) returned 7 results.
I could not find the above topic or link.
Is there any way to find whether any topic had already been
discussed in the list from the mail archives.?
