Hi all,
I recently downloaded XFCE 4.2, it works fine and nice. I have
certain small problems with it.....
1) I am unable to set it as my default desktop (i have used
switchdektop and event changed /etc/sysconfig/desktop) - My desktop
switcher shows only twm as the only avaliable desktop (I removed gnome
and KDE long back).
2) Is there any applets like modem lights (as like gnome modem lights
applets) for XFCE. [ I have tried xfce-goodies but there is no such
plugin for that]
3) whenever i play music (using xine and xmms) and chat using gaim
(or any other sound for that matter). Their sound output is delayed.
Is this a problem with XFCE or how shld i set up my mixer.
4) Whenever I need to restart or shutdown the system from XFCE. It
asks for a password and after that it says that the passwd is wrong or
the sysadmin hasn't given rights to shutoff using this account [
currently. i am logging off to gdm and shutting it down from there].
pls. help me out.
